Enabling White Label settings greatly expands the customisation on offer, and it is easy to get lost in all the options.
Here, we will go through those settings and explain what each does, as well as some tips for how best to create your White Label Event.
All White Label Settings and What They Do
Settings
Here you can choose the template you wish to use for your page. We recommend the Video Header template, it is the newest template with the most features, and a video is not required, an image can still be used in the banner.
This is also where a custom URL can be linked to your page. With this, you can have a completely unique link for your page, removing the iDonate branding. This requires some work on our end, so please do get in touch with us if you wish to use a customised link.
Template Options
This is where you can do the majority of your page customisation. You can edit the banner settings, add a countdown to your Event or a donation ticker to show off your recent donors.
You can choose how your
Teams and
Fundraisers appear, with custom names for each. If your Event is a marathon, you could change your Fundraisers Name to Runners, the choice is yours.
The Header Video and Background Image are two great ways to make your page unique. The Header Video allows you to add a looping video banner to the top of the page, a great way to show off your Event. The Background Image is like a wallpaper at the back of the page, behind the other elements. Usually, a repeating, simple pattern or logos is best suited here.
As the name suggests, this is a custom menu you can create that sits at the top of the page. To add an entry, click the Add New Link button.
For the type, choose Internal to add a link to another iDonate page, External to add a link to another website, or Dropdown to add multiple links in a dropdown menu.
Here you can link your own website, your own webpage for the Event, other Events, or your social media. Anything can be linked here, so use this menu however best suits.
Gallery
Much like other iDonate pages, there is an image gallery on a White Label page.
Up to 10 images can be added here, which will appear about halfway down the page in a carousel of images.
FAQs
To share information related to your Event, you can fill out this Frequently Asked Questions section.
What the Event is in aid of, when and where it is taking place, the rules and regulations, registration information, anything you need to convey to current and potential participants can be explained here.
Impact Statement
Here you can go into more detail, and write a piece on what this fundraising effort will do to help others.
For the main Event page, Team pages, and/or Fundraising pages, you can add a statement, with an image and links to learn more.
Code Blocks
White Label pages contain multiple custom Code Blocks where HTML code can be added, to add unique elements to the page.
Many White Label pages use this feature to add interactive maps showing each of the locations where the Event is taking place, or to add bespoke sections to the page with buttons or unique elements. There is no limit to what can be done here by a creative web designer.
