How do I use iDonate to Thank my Donors

As a Fundraiser, you can setup an automatic thank you response to be sent to all future donors.
You can also manually send messages to your previous donors, either individually or all at once.
Here are the methods available for thanking your donors:

Automated reply to donors


  1. Login to your Fundraiser account at https://www.idonate.ie/login.html
  2. On your admin page, click Messages in the menu on the left of the screen
  3. Enter a subject and the message that you wish to be sent to all new donors
  4. Make sure to have Automatically Send selected, then hit Save

Note that this message will be sent to anyone who donates going forward, it will not be sent to anyone who has donated before the message is set.

Thank each donor individually


If you wish to thank those who have already donated to your page, you can do so by responding to each donor individually.
  1. On your admin page, choose Donations in the menu on the left
  2. Click the arrow icon beside a donation labelled Reply to send a public message to the donor.
You can also thank your donors on the Fundraising page itself.
On the donations list, click View More and you will see the option to respond directly to each donation here.

Note this response will be displayed publicly on your Fundraising page.
