Offline Donations are a way to represent any cash, cheque, or other donations made outside of your iDonate Fundraiser.
This option allows you to credit a donor on your page, while adding their contribution to your total raised, without the requirement of making an online payment.
Here is what you need to know to add Offline Donations to your Fundraising page.
The first thing you need to do is login to your Fundraiser account.
Once you are logged in, navigate to the page you wish to add this donation to, you can find it on your dashboard.
On the page, click the red Settings icon on the left side of the screen, then find the Offline Donation option on the sidebar menu.
When you click Offline Donations here, a menu will pop up showing any offline donations already on the page.
To add one, click the green Add Offline Donation button in the lower right corner.
Then, in the new menu that pops up, add the donation amount, donor name, a message if needed, and a date, then click Save.
The donation will appear instantly on your list of donors, and the amount will be added to the total.
As mentioned, the purpose of an Offline Donation is to represent donations made outside of iDonate.
If you have the means to send those donations to the charity you are welcome to do so, or if it would be more convenient you can transfer them through iDonate.
Beside the Add Offline Donation button is a button labelled Transfer Offline Donations. This brings up a donation page with the offline donations pre-added.
To transfer the amount, you simply need to make the donation as normal here, and those offline donations will become online donations.
